In Akwa Ibom State drilling for water is performed through a manual process is it shown on the video:

A group of men works together to operate a manual rotary drilling rig in a village within a Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Using a long horizontal wooden or metal beam as a lever, they manually rotate a vertical drill pipe deep into the muddy ground. The process is physically demanding and requires several men to push and pull the beam in a circular motion. Their goal is to drill a borehole that will provide the community with access to clean underground water.
